Parents

Parents who nuRture their children, incorporate worship, scripture, and prayer in the family, and welcome support and accountability

Call Children’s Ministry calls parents to embrace their God-given responsibility to faithfully nurture their children’s loves, habits, and imaginations.

Weekly summary email: This email goes out on Mondays and includes a brief summary of what children have learned in Children's Worship, Sunday School, and Student Breakfast (for middle to high school students) with accompanying questions for discussion.

Gospel Story Bible, Old Story New, and Long Story Short: We encourage you to use the Bible and accompanying devotional guide that go along with our Sunday School curriculum. You can sign up for Trinity's evening prayer devotional, which includes daily assignments in Old Story New.

Parent's Guide to Children's Worship: We encourage you to follow along at home with what we are teaching in Children's Worship this year.

Baptism: Here at Trinity we practice infant baptism. Parents must be members of Trinity to baptize their child. If you are interested in setting up a time for your child to be baptized, please email Jaclyn Stokes.

Train Children's Ministry trains parents to use the means of grace—worship, prayer, and scripture—in the life of the family.

Parenting Classes: As part of the Adult Education hour, we offer classes geared to parents. Click here to see classes being offered now. You can also listen to previous classes from our Parenting Track. For additional resources see our recommended book list.

Household Devotions Class: During the summer, we offer a class for parents and their children where we seek to model, encourage, and offer opportunity to practice engaging your family with God's Word.

Support Children's Ministry supports parents in living lives of repentance in a context of mutual support and accountability.

Adoption and Foster Care Ministry: This ministry seeks to provide support, encouragement, and fellowship for those who have adopted or fostered children, as well as those who are interested in being part of the process.

Expectant Parents Ministry: This ministry seeks to offer support to new parents through providing meals.

Mainly Music: This weekly gathering of children and parents/caregivers provides an opportunity to meet families inside and outside of the Trinity community and to enjoy fellowship.

Mom's Morning Out: This program offers parents/caregivers a chance to take some needed time to relax, enjoy friendship, get a few errands done, etc.
