Spiritual Practices

Trinity wants people to experience the joy and peace of union with Jesus Christ. We pray that as we follow Him, we will become more like Him. God uses many means to form His children into His likeness. As a church family, Trinity is putting nine of these “means of grace” into practice. You do not need to begin all nine practices at once. Start by choosing one or two that are new to you and letting these be your focus. Let us help you get started as an individual or a family.

"I love having a prescribed program that others in our body are doing together, and I love doing it for me—to continue knowing our Lord in a deeper way. And I love that it is doable!"

Common Worship
We gather together weekly to worship God and, through His Spirit, re-center our lives in Jesus Christ. Come worship at Trinity on Sundays.

We learn together and wrestle with all that the Bible's message means for our everyday lives.

Reading the Bible Daily

We read through all of God's Word together as a church, allowing this to change us and help us grow. Click the Morning Prayer button above, which subscribes you to the daily Bible readings we as a congregation are doing together.

We rest from our work and celebrate our new life in Jesus Christ. Resource materials and audio files.

Confession and Spiritual Mentoring
We speak to someone privately about our failures and our confusions. To learn more, contact Wade Bradshaw.

We pull away for a short time to reflect upon our relationship with God, with ourselves, and with others. All take place at Skylark Farm on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

As we serve others, we also grow in our discipleship as Christians. This service can take as many forms as we have opportunities to see where others need help. Our service nurtures God’s will in the world, and it delivers people from hardship and suffering. Ask God to open your eyes to the needs of those near you, and go to our Serve page for particular current needs.
