Seeking the renewal of all things through Jesus Christ

The Presence of God in the Everyday

Taught by Sam Heath
Brother Lawrence was a 17th-century French monk who spent his life working in a kitchen. His regular and radical practice of simply, fervently, and (most of all) unceasingly talking to God transformed his life and the lives of those around him. We read together and discussed a short book, The Practice of the Presence of God, made up of his letters, thoughts, and biography, while challenging each other with spiritual practices to realize and engage with God’s presence.
