Trinity functions under the presbyterian form of church government. The congregation nominates and elects elders and deacons to serve as the officers of the church. The pastors (also known as teaching elders) and elders elected by the congregation (also known as ruling elders) are responsible for governance and spiritual oversight of the church. Deacons are responsible for mercy ministry and for stewardship of the church's resources.
