Hospital Visits
Pastors and other church leaders want to be available to visit members and their families in the hospital. If you or someone in your family would like a hospital visit, please have someone from the family (or a friend on behalf of the family) notify Yolanda Monett. Please include in your email or message your name, the best way to contact you (phone number or email address), which hospital and if possible a room number. Weekend/Evening/Holiday Emergencies
A pastor is on call each weekend of the month and at other times when the church office is closed. In the case of a family emergency (serious illness or death) on the weekend, please call 434-260-0001 and follow the prompts to reach the pastor on call. Please note that this pager number is to be used only in the case of family emergencies that occur outside of business hours. This number is not to be used for church business that can be taken care of during the week.

Prayer Lists
We offer two Prayer Lists, primarily for illnesses and deaths in the families of church members and regular attenders. The Pastoral Care List is a confidential email that goes to pastors, elders and deacons only. The Congregational Prayer List is a confidential email that goes to members of the congregation who have asked to be put on this list in order to pray for needs in our congregation.

Because we want to respect people's privacy, no prayer needs are put on either list without permission from the person involved or their family. If you want to request prayer in this manner, please contact Yolanda Monett.

Prayer Cards
Each week in our Order of Worship there is a two-sided slip of paper. One side says "Welcome" and the other says "Prayer Requests." We encourage anyone in our congregation to fill out the prayer request side and place the slip in the offering basket. The church staff gathers to pray on Wednesday mornings, and your requests are prayed for at that time.
