Faith Seeking Understanding Forums are events designed to help engage the mind with faith. These seminars help us to begin with biblical truth, thinking deeply and Christianly about how a particular topic aligns with our culture, our beliefs and our Christian worldview.
Past subjects of Faith Seeking Understanding Forums have included the civil war in Sudan, the poetry of George Herbert, Christian images in The Lord of the Rings, and what the Oscar nominations for Best Picture tell us about our culture.
Forums are held about four to six times per year and times vary. The speaker teaches for about one hour, and this is followed by about half an hour of questions. Forums will be listed on this page several weeks in advance of each event. Registration is not necessary, and there is no charge.
