Ministries
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
John 13:34-35

Trinity Presbyterian Church has several ministries that we offer to members in times of need.

Pastoral Care & Counseling
John Cunningham, our pastor for shepherding, counsels members of Trinity. He provides individual, marriage and family counseling. He will also see Trinity attenders who are not members up to three times before providing a referral to a professional in the community. Appointments may be scheduled confidentially by calling 977-3700 ext 330 or emailing

Christian counseling is also available through various ministries in the community.

DivorceCare
DivorceCare is a biblically based seminar and support goup. This 13-week program open to anyone undergoing the pain of separation or divorce features seminars from 32 renowned experts on divorce and recovery, including Kay Arthur, Dr. Bob Barnes and Dr. Tony Evans. The discussion/support format allows for sharing with others while reviewing the video topic. Details about the program are available at www.divorcecare.org. To sign up or get more information, contact Bob or Fran Fleischman at 434-295-8355 (h) or 434-244-4540 (w).

Stephen Ministry
The Stephen Ministry is a part of the pastoral care function of the church. Stephen Ministers are trained and skilled people-helpers, who come alongside someone during a difficult time in life, to provide Christlike encouragement. This is a one-to-one, long-term (6-24 months or so) relationship that can mean the difference between a hope-filled growth experience and a discouraging, unbiblical attempt to face tough times alone. Contact Peter Schmidt at 220-1575.
