What is AXIS 10?
AXIS 10 is the new name for the Student Ministry's Sunday morning meeting
of worship and teaching (formerly called YTF or Youth Teaching Fellowship)
at 9 am on Sundays in the gym.
What does it mean?
The "AXIS" represents the two types of relationships
that we are called to live in as Christians: first, our relationship with
God - represented by the vertical arrows; second, our relationship with
others - represented by the horizontal arrows. The "10"
is taken from Luke chapter 10, where Jesus commands, "You shall love
the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all
your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."
This ties back into the vertical and horizontal relationships we are called
to live in.
