Father, give us willing minds to learn of your truths. Give us willing hearts to obey that which we learn. Teach us from your Word that we might be those whose love for our Savior is quickened by the knowledge of His character and work. Teach us to confess Christ with our lives as well as to profess Him with our speech. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, our Lord, and grant that this course would prepare us to be more responsive disciples and more faithful servants. We pray this for the sake of our Savior's glory. Amen.
