Church Planting

God is renewing all things through Jesus. This means that all people and places in our community need to hear about and experience the hope and renewal of the gospel. We believe church planting is the best way to help this happen. The church offers something that can be found nowhere else—only in the church can we connect to Jesus and His people and be fed for our spiritual journey. By starting other churches, we can offer many more people life in Christ.

Trinity is planting a network of connected churches in the Charlottesville–Albemarle area, churches that will share common DNA and ministries, while being contextualized to their specific area. Our current work is Hope Presbyterian Church of Crozet, located 15 miles west of Charlottesville. This congregation will love and serve Crozet just as Trinity has loved and served Charlottesville and the University. Hope meets for worship at 10am Sundays at Crozet Elementary School.

Hope Presbyterian is being planted by Rev. Todd Johnson and his family. Contact Todd.
