Trinity is a big church, and we want everyone who comes here to find within Trinity two important elements: community and care.

Community
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. Romans 15:7
By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 1 John 3:16

Smaller communities within the church meet needs beyond Sunday morning worship. Community groups are intimate communities of about a dozen people who gather to pray, study, and support each other. More about community groups.

Care
But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children. So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us. 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8

One important and abiding image that the scriptures and church history have used to portray the nature of the church is that of a hospital—a place where broken people come in and are mended and cared for. This mending happens in all kinds of ways through all kinds of people—from the pastors, elders, and deacons to congregation members.
