The Place of the Mind in Christian Discipleship

Taught by Drew Trotter

How do you know that what you think is good discipleship really is in fact discipleship as God desires it? Central to following Jesus is knowing Him, but often we don’t understand the nature of this knowledge. Where does it come from? How do we attain it? How sure is it? In this course we look at some of the most important passages in the Gospel of Matthew as a starting place for investigating the answers to these questions in other places in the Bible, in our own experience and in what some of the great leaders of the church have said on the matter. Our biblical study looks primarily at how the disciples understood Jesus and His teaching and how His reactions and clarifications to them can teach us better what it means to follow Him rightly.
