Materials Needed for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Trinity's Children's Ministry is looking for folks with some specialized gifts to help us with the re-opening of our Atrium this fall. The Atrium is our specially-prepared room for our 3-5yo children to encounter Jesus through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd class. In particular, we are in need of:
- People with sewing skills/tools for a few small sewing projects (materials would be provided)
- People with woodworking skills/tools for a few small woodworking projects (materials would be provided)
- Gardeners with excess flowers which could be used for our flower-arranging station
In addition, we are searching for donations for the following items:
- 1-2 pairs of brass candlesticks (sized for taper candles)
- Small doilies (yes, the white lace things!)
- House plants and pots for houseplants (we need many of these!)
- 2-3 entryway benches
- Small vases (tall and short) that can hold 2-4 stems
- Small-ish items made of brass or silver (bowls, vases, candle holders, trays, etc) that can be polished
- Beeswax candles (votive and taper sized)
