Trinity Life Continues

Brothers and Sisters, we will be continuing Trinity Life to keep you updated on news around the church and community as well as Care needs that have arisen. Please click here for a complete list of ways you can serve, request assistance, or find out ways to connect with others at church.

Grocery Deliveries Bless Many!
groceries in trunk sm People in our congregation and in the community are receiving grocery deliveries from Trinity volunteers. We're teaming with Loaves & Fishes food pantry to deliver 62 pounds (a two-week supply) of groceries to families who don't have a way to get them. 42 deliveries have been made or scheduled so far!

Nancy Berry emailed one family in the Southwood community to confirm their receipt of a grocery delivery. They replied, "Si lo recibimos, muchas gracias por todo lo que hacen, bendiciones y otra vez muchas gracias"  “Yes, we received it! Many thanks for all that you all are doing. Blessings and again, many thanks!”

Our Children Loving Our Neighbors
LYN sm
The children of Trinity are taking a role in caring for our members and community by drawing pictures and writing letters. On Monday we issued a "Love Your Neighbor" challenge to send a note to a Trinity healthcare professional. Within six hours 50 of the 60 people listed had been "adopted"! In the coming weeks, we will continue to issue challenges to our children to write to various groups in our congregation and community.

Join Us for Morning Prayer
We would love for you to join us Monday through Thursday at 9am for 30 minutes of prayer. We pray together to begin our day in a right place: seeking God's word and placing ourselves in His care. To join us for prayer, click here to sign up. If you need help using Zoom, click here for tips.

You can also download our Easter Devotional (PDF). Are you interested in a hard copy of the devotional? We are considering printing some. If you'd like one, email Hilary.

Worship with Us on Sunday
This week's video worship service will be available starting at 8:30am this Sunday (4/26). You will be able to access the service from the homepage of our website, and you'll receive an email at that time with all the information and materials. You can download the children's packet here.

Giving Update
In the midst of instability, your generous giving to your church has allowed us to continue in ministry and meet the growing financial needs of our church members and community. As individuals and families experience greater financial hardship, the Finance Committee recently authorized more funds from the General Budget to be directed to the Mercy Fund to ensure that our church members and community are cared for.

Your giving to the General Budget YTD is $748,498, which is $94,000 over 2019 YTD. Please take time to praise God and pray for the continued financial stability and growth of our church to glorify God as we seek to love each other and our neighbors.

How You Can Help
Sewing Face Masks—Join Trinity's Sewing Circle by completing this form. For questions, contact Jaime Laugelli.
Spanish Speakers—Do you speak, read, or write Spanish? We need help to better communicate with our Spanish-speaking neighbors. Please contact care@trinitycville.org if you are interested in helping or joining a bilingual prayer team.
Diaper Drive—We have had many requests for diapers and wipes. Thank you for your amazing generosity as you have already supplied enough diapers and wipes for the first round of requests! If you're interested in contributing, please let us know. Thank you for loving children in our community!

Friends, please send photos of ways you are serving or connecting whether this be a picture of your virtual small group, you or your child writing a letter or drawing a picture, picking up food, buying diapers, making a phone call, etc. It may seem odd to take a picture of yourself caring for others, but in this time when we cannot be together it would be a huge blessing to get a glimpse into the ways our body is serving as Christ's hands and feet. We will collect these pictures this week and then use them in a Sunday slideshow. Please email all pictures to Elizabeth O'Donnell.
