MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: MISSION
Mission has always been a core ministry at Trinity. Mission goals over the next few months include sharpening ministry partnerships with Grounds ministries, invigorating welcome and hospitality to internationals and refugees, and planning for a missions conference. As always, Mission will tighten bonds with missionaries who are out on the global missions field. Visit the Mission fair tables after worship services this Sunday! Also, a Friendship Partners orientation session is occurring at Trinity in room 250, this Sunday at 12:45. Lunch provided for participants.

Student Brunch
On Sunday, September 12, Mission will host a brunch for university students immediately following our second service. Use the links to sign up to bring a side of food or to help for an hour in the gym or kitchen on event day.

World Relief Visit
On Sunday, October 31, Matt Sorens and Andrew Seacrest of World Relief will be with us at Trinity to inspire and help us refine refugee ministry work.

Global Mission Partner Visit
On Sunday, November 14, our global mission partner in Scotland, Rebecca Giles, will be with us to provide a live update on the next phase of her missions work. Rebecca will also help in our planning for a modern missions conference.

Church in China Symposium
Mission is also collaborating with our ministry partner/church in China historian Wright Doyle and others on a special symposium on the Church in China, to occur in early 2022.

Consider joining mission as we share God’s love with students, support missionaries, and extend hospitality and welcome to others in Charlottesville.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING, SUNDAY AT 10AM
Join us for a congregational meeting this Sunday at 10:00AM in the back parking lot. The primary purpose of this meeting is to honor and thank Pastor Walter Kim for his four years of faithful service as Trinity’s Pastor for Leadership. Our agenda will also include updates on important initiatives such as the Women in Leadership Task Force, staffing changes, and how the church will be managed as we prepare for Pastor Mike Sharrett to begin as Interim Pastor for Leadership on November 1.

SUNDAY WORSHIP UPDATE
This Sunday we will host a 8:30AM service outdoors in our back parking lot and an 11:15 AM service in our sanctuary. The 8:30AM service is a "bring your own chair" service. At our 8:30AM outdoor service, masks are not required but are recommended. Masks are required at our 11:15AM indoor service regardless of vaccination status (ages 2+). Questions? Please review our FAQ pages.
