NEW WORSHIP SERVICE TIME
Beginning Aug 14, our worship service time, both in person and livestreamed, will be 10:15. The formation hour will take place from 9:00–10:00am.

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY WITH PASTOR MIKE
Interim Pastor Mike Sharrett invites you to join him for a summer Bible study. Sundays,  through Aug 28, 8:30–9:20am, room 250. (NOTE: Beginning Aug 14, the class will take place from 9:00–10:00am.) Sorry, no childcare. "From Eternity to Eternity: How God Claims You and Keeps You." From 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17, we'll see that God is with you in the storm; God chose you; God called you; God justified you; God sanctifies you; God glorifies you. All are welcome; attend as few or as many sessions as you desire!

JOSIAH CAREY INSTALLATION AND RECEPTION
Rev. Josiah Carey will be installed as UVa's RUF pastor on Sunday, Aug 14, during the worship service. Following the service, there will be a meet-and-greet reception in the Courtyard Room. All are welcome.

MINISTRY FAIR AND POTLUCK PICNIC AUGUST 28
On Aug 28 at 11:45, we will have a Ministry Fair and Potluck Picnic. Learn more about the different ministries and volunteer opportunities at Trinity this fall. Enjoy fellowship and connecting with your Trinity church family, including a potluck lunch on the church grounds and some fun and games for all ages! More details to follow soon.

WOMEN TOGETHER IN THE WORD
Women Together in the Word warmly invites you to join us this year for our weekly Bible study and fellowship! Come join women of all ages to study God’s Word and join in discussion and prayer. This year we are studying the book of Luke using materials from authors N.T. Wright and Patty Pell. Registration is $35 for the year including the study guide. No additional cost for childcare (available for ages infant–4 years). Wednesdays beginning Sept 14 from 9:30–11:30am. Nursery (as well as complimentary coffee/tea and a chance for fellowship) available beginning at 9am. Register here! FALL CHILDREN'S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
As fall approaches, please be prayerfully considering how you might serve our church in children’s ministry and how you might also encourage others to do so! There are options for everyone’s schedules and giftings. Please use this form to indicate your willingness to serve or email Amy Piedra. Here are some roles to consider:
– Sunday school teacher, assistant, or song leader
– Children's Worship teacher or helper
– Nursery volunteer
We will have two training options for fall volunteers: Sunday morning, Aug 28, or Thursday, Sept 1, at 7:30pm. Please make plans to attend one. Childcare (through grade 5) will be provided at the Sunday training only.

INTRO TO TRINITY: MEMBERSHIP CLASS
Interested in membership at Trinity? Our Intro to Trinity class will take place Sundays, 9–10am, Sept 11–Oct 9. The class is required for membership but open to anyone who wants to know more about Trinity. Register here. Questions? Email Hilary Swinson.

JOIN IN MINISTRY TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN CVILLE
We have long partnered with our local mission partner International Students Inc. (ISI) to welcome, bless, and share Christ with international students and scholars in Charlottesville. Join our Trinity International Ministry team or join any or all of these upcoming ministry partnership activities. Click here to sign up.  
Move-In help days: Aug 13, 15, and 17 ISI and church volunteers will transport arriving international students by large buses from Dulles Airport to Charlottesville. We particularly need local volunteers to drive international students from the drop-off point on Alderman Rd to their dorms/apartments around UVA grounds. This is often a first contact these students have with Americans and/or Christians. You may also volunteer to help greet arriving internationals at Dulles.
Help Host Welcome Picnic: Join us to extend love and welcome to international students and scholars at the welcome picnic Sat, Aug 27, at a beautiful farm in Earlysville.

FIVE-YEAR-OLDS' BIBLE MOVE-UP SUNDAY
Do you have a child who was born in 2017? If you have not already done so, please fill out this form so that we can present all of the children turning 5 this year with a Bible engraved with their name on Sunday, Sept 11. We look forward to marking their transition from nursery into Children's Worship and a fuller participation in the life and worship of our church. If your child turned 5 in the last couple of years and missed receiving a Bible, please reach out to Amy Piedra.  

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED
We need your help! We are currently seeking host families for the 2022–2023 class of Trinity Fellows, who are scheduled to arrive in late August! If you can house a Trinity Fellow, please email Dennis Doran.

SIGNUP FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS OPEN
Our community groups at Trinity are intentional groups of 10–12 adults with the purpose of growing together in Christ. We will open signups for community groups this Sunday, July 17, for groups to begin meeting in September. Click here to sign up. Questions? Email Hilary Swinson.
