Bulletin Board

There is a tremendous need for more housing options for families traveling from out-of-town to UVA Children's Hospital. LilyPads Housing, a local non-profit, provides free lodging in volunteer host homes to these families. We are looking for more volunteer hosts and you can help! While we appreciate any willing host with a private guest room and available bathroom within eight miles of the hospital, we are seeing more requests for spaces that can offer a more private feel to families. Possible lodgings include in-law suites, garage apartments, vacant homes/apartments, Airbnbs, guest houses/cottages, etc. All of our guest families are thoroughly vetted before placement in a host home.
