Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As we work together to contain the likely spread of infection for our community, I continue to pray that we would do this work compelled by the love of Christ and that each of us would look not only to our own interests but to the interests of others (Phil 2:4).

As I write this, there are currently still no known cases of COVID-19 in our area. However, we continue to monitor the situation through the CDC and Virginia Department of Health in consultation with the health professionals in our church community. We desire to be good and loving neighbors to our community to be able to share the love of Jesus. Since we are compelled by the love of Jesus, we are making the following changes this week out of caution and movement to reduce the spread in the case of an outbreak. Each week, we will be assessing any changes and updating each of you by the end of the week. The following changes take into effect today (3/13/2020):

  • There will be no physical Worship Service this Sunday. A recording will be made available.

    • On Sunday morning pastors and leadership will record a worship service. An audio recording along with a PDF of the Order of Worship will be available on the homepage of our website at 10:30AM on Sunday (3/15). You will also receive an email at that time with the information to access it.

    • We will have a video recorded service available for Sunday (3/22)

  • Any gatherings over 50 people are cancelled for this week

  • Any gathering under 50 people will meet at the discretion of the Ministry Director

  • On Monday our church office will be open if you are experiencing crisis. There will be reduced administrative support but someone will be answering the phones if assistance is needed.

If you are receiving this email, you are currently on our list. If you have friends or family that are not, please encourage them to sign-up by emailing resources@trinitycville.org

As we encounter empty store shelves, school closures, and varying opinions of family and friends, this can lead to many different emotions from compassion and love to anxiety and anger. Please pray that our hearts and minds would be guarded in Christ Jesus to carry out the work He has before us.

In the peace of Christ,

Jessica Wey Robinson

Managing Director
