University Ministry

Our local college students have played an important role at Trinity since the very beginning. We hope to provide a place where you can worship and be in fellowship with others. Let us know you are here and how we can help.

Ministries at UVA
Reformed University Fellowship: RUF is the campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. RUF sends ordained pastors to help students grow in their love for God and love for their neighbor. It provides opportunities to learn what the Bible teaches and put it into practice in our everyday lives. RUF emphasizes the sufficiency of Christ for salvation and the sufficiency of His Word for knowing Him. The gospel must be understood if it’s to be lived, and it must be lived in order to be truly understood. Rev. Robert Cunningham

Athletes in Action: Athletes in Action exists to boldly proclaim the love and truth of Jesus Christ to those uniquely impacted by sport at the University of Virginia and the greater Charlottesville community by sharing, providing,  and assisting in spiritual growth. Rev. Kelly Scott

Center for Christian Study: The Center for Christian Study is a Christian education and outreach organization that has been ministering to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Virginia, as well as to the people in central Virginia, since 1976. The center's vision is two-fold: "to foster serious consideration in the university environment of a biblical worldview" and "to facilitate wise discussion of the Truth in light of the challenges of contemporary culture." Jay McCabe, Undergraduate Minister; Lane Cowin, Undergraduate Minister

Theological Horizons (Bonhoeffer House): Theological Horizons supports Christians in academia by advancing theological scholarship and providing a welcoming community for engaging faith, thought, and life. Karen Wright Marsh, Executive Director

Cru (a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ): Cru exists to provide UVA students the opportunities to grow in their understanding of Christianity and develop their faith as followers of Jesus Christ. Cru also strives to serve its greater community.
