MINISTRY FAIR AND POTLUCK PICNIC AUGUST 28
On Aug 28 at 11:45, we will have a Ministry Fair and Potluck Picnic. Learn about the different ministries and volunteer opportunities at Trinity this fall. Enjoy a time of outdoor games and fellowship, including a bounce house for kids, a cornhole tournament for adults/families, and other outdoor activities. Each household is asked to bring a side dish or dessert sufficient to serve your household and a few extras. (Bring your dish with contents labeled to the table outside the downstairs kitchen. You can drop it off before the service if you need to.) Main dish and drinks provided.

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY WITH PASTOR MIKE
Interim Pastor Mike Sharrett invites you to join him for a summer Bible study. Sundays,  through Aug 28, 9:00–10:00am, room 250. Sorry, no childcare. "From Eternity to Eternity: How God Claims You and Keeps You." From 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17, we'll see that God is with you in the storm; God chose you; God called you; God justified you; God sanctifies you; God glorifies you. All are welcome; attend as few or as many sessions as you desire!

PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE: STATUS UPDATE
The Pastor Search Committee continues to meet weekly, and we are grateful for your ongoing prayer support. We have completed our senior pastor recruiting packet, which has been released through our consultant into PCA networks and is also accessible on the here. You can nominate and invite men to apply by providing this packet, which includes instructions on how to apply. We will accept applications through the end of September and hol interviews throughout the fall. Please continue to pray for the committee, our current work of preparing for interviewing, and for the new pastor whom God will bring to us. Members can submit questions and suggestions to the PSC by emailing psc2022@trinitycville.org

MIDDLE SCHOOL MODGNIK RETREAT
We are kicking off student ministry this fall with our middle school retreat to MODGNIK the weekend of Sept 9–11! Any and all of our middle school friends are welcome. It's not too late to join! Register here. Registration closes Monday, Aug 22, at 11pm.

CURIOUS ABOUT OUR FELLOWS PROGRAM?
If you're curious about Trinity's Fellows Program—What's it about? How might I be involved? How has it grown over the years?—come to the Opening Banquet! Our Fellows Program has sent about 300 men and women out to do the Lord's work in business, law, medicine, the church, and much more. WOMEN TOGETHER IN THE WORD
Come join Women Together in the Word this year for our weekly Bible study and fellowship! The theme for this year will be "Luke: A Light in the Darkness" and we will study the book of Luke using materials from authors N.T. Wright and Patty Pell. Registration is $35 for the year including the study guide. No additional cost for childcare (available for ages infant–4 years). Wednesdays beginning September 14 from 9:30–11:30am. FALL CHILDREN'S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
As fall approaches, please be prayerfully considering how you might serve our church in children’s ministry and how you might also encourage others to do so! There are options for everyone’s schedules and giftings. Please use this form to indicate your willingness to serve or email Amy Piedra. Here are some roles to consider:
– Sunday school teacher, assistant, or song leader
– Children's Worship teacher or helper
– Nursery volunteer
We will have two training options for fall volunteers: Sunday morning, Aug 28, or Thursday, Sept 1, at 7:30pm. Please make plans to attend one. Childcare (through grade 5) will be provided at the Sunday training only.

INTRO TO TRINITY: MEMBERSHIP CLASS
Interested in membership at Trinity? Our Intro to Trinity class will take place Sundays, 9–10am, Sept 11–Oct 9. The class is required for membership but open to anyone who wants to know more about Trinity. Register here. Questions? Email Hilary Swinson.

The Worship Ministry is seeking volunteers for the following:

FIVE-YEAR-OLDS' BIBLE MOVE-UP SUNDAY
Do you have a child who was born in 2017? If you have not already done so, please fill out this form so that we can present all of the children turning 5 this year with a Bible engraved with their name on Sunday, Sept 11. We look forward to marking their transition from nursery into Children's Worship and a fuller participation in the life and worship of our church. If your child turned 5 in the last couple of years and missed receiving a Bible, please reach out to Amy Piedra.

BAPTISM SUNDAY OCTOBER 2
