LAST DAY TO COMPLETE IMPORTANT SURVEY!
SurveyTrinity’s Worship Ministry Team, elders, deacons, and staff are grateful for how the congregation has responded to ongoing changes in how we worship together and separately. As we plan for the coming months and the hope of returning to indoor worship in some form, we want your input and feedback. How has the pandemic affected you and your household? How do you feel about gathering for indoor worship? What are your hopes and expectations as we look ahead?
Please complete this short survey by close of business Friday, November 6. Thank you for helping the church’s leadership to move forward as we seek to glorify our Lord and King.

ADDRESSING FOOD NEEDS IN OUR COMMUNITY
"I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink" (Matthew 25:35). This is the guiding principle behind the efforts of Pastor William Ward of Bethel Church on Dice Street. Each of the past three Saturdays, 1200 boxes of fresh USDA food were given to anyone who needed it. This large-scale distribution is expected to last many months as families continue to be affected by work slowdowns and shutdowns. Trinity's Mercy Ministry is coming alongside Bethel and other churches to address food insecurity. Volunteers are needed Saturdays, 9:30–12:00. All volunteers will have temperatures checked, wear masks, and practice social distancing as they load boxes into vehicles. We want to provide up to 10 volunteers twice a month. Volunteers must be able to lift/load 35 lb. boxes. SIGN UP HERE. Questions? Contact Joe Magri or Alex Piedra.

INTRO TO TRINITY CLASS BEGINS THIS SATURDAY
If you are new to Trinity, please come learn how we live out our mission to share in God’s renewal of all things through the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are seeking membership at Trinity, this class is required. Our first class will be in person Saturday, November 7, 9–11:30 AM. Due to current health practices concerning COVID, we will not offer childcare. We will then have four online classes on Wednesdays, 8–9 PM, Nov 11, 18, and Dec 2, 9. We look forward to having you hear about the main ministry areas of our church life and providing opportunities for fellowship amongst each other and our staff. Please pre-register for the class here. Questions? Contact Hilary Swinson.

We have just published Our Protector in a Pandemic, a Covid Psalter with psalms written by Trinity parishioners. You can pick up a copy at the registration table at Sunday worship. If you are not attending worship and would like a copy, please email Hilary Swinson.

IN BRIEF
Volunteers Needed! Help People Seeking Employment
Because of the pandemic, Trinity will not lead WorkLife this year and likely not next spring. However, there is another wonderful volunteer opportunity to help local unemployed and under-employed people. Piedmont Virginia Community College’s Network2Work program offers soft-skills training and removes roadblocks to employment with technical training and meeting needs like childcare, transportation, and housing. Resume and interview preparation are also included. Several volunteer opportunities are available, and some can be done virtually. See this fact sheet. This is a practical way to be missional in our own place and time, especially when the pandemic is further impacting the most vulnerable.
