Friends,

First I would like to say how wonderful it has been to gather together under the tent for worship over the past three months. It has been a joy to have fellowship after many months apart. As many of you know, we will move back online to pre-recorded services beginning this Sunday, November 22. (Look for an email with the link on Sunday morning.) On Sunday we will explain in greater detail our church's plans for the season of Advent.

While we gather online for worship this Sunday, we have one more opportunity to gather this month under the tent with our Advent Wreath Workshop this Sunday. The Workshop will be especially important this year as we intend to use our wreaths during worship each week of Advent. As with everything during this time, the Workshop will be done a bit differently to keep everyone safe. You will register for a particular time slot to attend the Workshop. This permits us to give everyone an opportunity to come and gather for the workshop while also staying safe by following social-distancing guidelines. Click here to sign up for a time slot to make an Advent Wreath!

We want to thank everyone who filled out our most recent survey that focused on January plans for returning to indoor worship services. We are taking all of your feedback into consideration as we think through moving indoors in the New Year. Our Session and staff are working hard to come up with the best way to safely gather inside our building for worship services, but we will plan to do pre-recorded services through the end of the year.

As we watch and wait as a church during this Advent season, our hope is in the Lord. Let's pray that His Spirit will be present with us in new and surprising ways as we worship together.

Best,

Isaac Wardell
Director of Worship Arts
